The University of Michigan surface lot across the street (in front of Kellogg Eye Center) is free after 5pm Mon-Fri, and free all day on Saturday and Sunday.
There is also free street parking along Wall Street, Maiden Lane, Broadway, and up the hill on Moore Street.
