Who does Mdesign do work for?

The primary function of Mdesign is to offer design services to anyone who needs them. In the past, this has included student orgs, small businesses, startups and other business entities. If you have a project that you think Mdesign may be able to work on, don’t hesitate to reach out.

Do Mdesign's services cost anything?

Because Mdesign does not run for a profit, all services are currently free of cost. This is not to say Mdesign doesn’t gain anything from its ventures - each project provides a student with valuable real-world design experience and portfolio work. If you do want to financially support Mdesign, please consider donating on our Buy Me a Coffee.

I'm a student designer at the University of Michigan. How do I join?

Applications to join Mdesign open at the start of the fall and winter semesters. To get more information on our recruiting process fill out the interest form on the ‘Join’ page. From there you will receive updates from our team when we are in the process of recruiting.

Is Mdesign affiliated with the University of Michigan?

Mdesign is a registered Voluntary Student Organization (VSO) at the University of Michigan. Mdesign is accountable to the University for legal compliance, fiscal responsibility, and adherence to established community standards. In addition, Mdesign has also been approved as an affiliated organization with the Penny W. Stamps School of Art and Design.
